Important Snickers Trouser Sizing Information
The size shown in our website dropdown is the size the garment is designed to fit.
The size printed on the internal Snickers label may be different. This is normal and does not mean you have been sent the wrong size.
Understanding Snickers Trouser Sizing
Snickers trouser sizing can be confusing because the fit of the trousers has changed over the years. Older Snickers trousers were often cut more generously, while newer styles are generally more shaped and fitted.
3 Series vs 6 Series Trousers
For many years, Snickers produced the older 3 Series trousers. These were usually looser, baggier and often felt larger than the stated size.
The newer 6 Series trousers are available in different fits, including:
- Loose Fit
- Regular / Standard Fit
- Slim Fit
Because Snickers continued using similar internal label codes, customers moving from older 3 Series trousers to newer 6 Series trousers can sometimes find the same code feels tighter.
Moving from 3 Series to 6 Series
As a general guide, customers moving from the old 3 Series usually need to go up one waist size code.
Example: If you wore size 048 in the old 3 Series, you would usually choose 050 in the newer 6 Series.
We would not normally recommend going up in leg length. Although some newer trousers may appear slightly shorter on paper, the more tapered fit usually means customers can stay with their usual short, regular or long leg length.
Slim Fit trousers: Some customers may need to go up more than one waist size because Slim Fit styles are narrower through the thigh and calf.
Already Wearing 6 Series?
If you already wear a 6 Series trouser, the waist and inside leg are generally consistent across 6 Series models.
For repeat orders, use the product code or size tag shown on the outside seam of the right leg. Please remember that the fit can still feel different when changing between Loose, Regular and Slim styles.
Before You Place Your Order
Please check your chosen size carefully before completing checkout. Orders are automatically sent for picking once checkout is complete, so it is usually not possible for us to make changes afterwards.
