Weeks after Brexit. Why are deliveries still taking longer? Click Here
UPDATE 26/1/21 – Orders placed up to the 18th Jan have either been delivered or will be in the next 48hrs. Orders placed 19th/20th should be delivered Friday/Saturday if not sooner. So it appears that Snickers are down to around 8 working days for direct deliveries. Still not great but getting there, and a lot better than it was at the beginning of January – Now Northern Ireland; We’ve found a way to deliver to NI that will clear the outstanding orders and help going forwards. Hopefully just the extra day or so longer as going across the water
7/1/21 – The latest information from Snickers Head Office:
Parcels being shipped from Snickers Central Warehouse are facing delays due to unforeseen custom issues.
We, and Snickers, appreciate that this will cause some distress, but we do ask for some consideration to be made for having to deal with an issue like Brexit that has never occurred before. A deal was struck at the 12th hour but the requirements to implement the new stricter rules, that were unclear are taking longer than anyone could prepare for. Add to this the recent national Covid lockdown and this is made even more difficult to implement
Please stay safe and we will update here with any new information
